To qualify, candidates must be either dependents of former RPF/RPSF employees or their widows. They should be enrolled in a professional or technical degree program, including but not limited to B.E, B.Tech, MBBS, MCA, B.Pharma, or B. Ed, at an institution accredited by official regulatory bodies like AICTE, MCI, UGC, or NCTE. Additionally, applicants must have achieved at least 60% in their most recent educational milestone, whether Class 12, a diploma, or a graduate degree.
Documents Required for PM Railway Scholarship
For Fresh Applicants: For individuals applying for the first time, the required documents include a service certificate from the respective office for those in category IV, according to Annexure II. Category I, II, and III applicants must provide a copy of their Pension Payment Order (PPO), discharge certificate, or service book. Additionally, a digital version of their most recent educational qualification, whether a high school diploma, a college degree, or any other relevant document, is necessary.
For Renewal Applicants: For those seeking to renew their application, an updated service certificate from the serving personnel’s office is mandatory for category IV applicants, as outlined in Annexure II. Moreover, a scanned version of the latest academic record must be submitted, including mark sheets or any official documentation confirming advancement to the subsequent grade or class from a recognized authority.
